Public shaming and the labeling of certain opinions as beyond the pale are phenomena present in most societies, and have been hallmarks of Jewish communities for centuries. But, argues David Wolpe in conversation with Elliot Cosgrove, such limitations are a far cry from the new fanatical censoriousness known as cancel culture.
